Photoshop Editing

Just had some fun with photoshop tonight. It's kind of fun to just try different things.

This last weekend I headed up to Jarome, Arizona with a friend to take some pictures. Jarome is an old mining town located up near Prescott, Arizona. It was fun to explore around the town. I think I ended up with some pictures that I really liked.

I ♥ Faces- Flowers

So I took this adorable picture of my cousin's new baby a couple weekends ago and it works perfectly for this weeks I ♥ Faces challenge. It was so fun to have the flowers with the green grass, especially since she is a spring baby.

Go here to check out other shots for the challenge or even the other cool photo tips.

New Assignment

So now that my photo class is over I won't have weekly assignments anymore, but in hopes that I still use my camera every week I will continue to have 'assignments'. This week's assignments comes from my brother.
  • Silhouettes
Should be a fun one. If anyone else want to suggest assignments, or even wants to join me on taking pictures each week I would love to see them.

Baby Shots

So this is just a preview cause I'm still working on going through all the shots, but my cousin was kind enough to let me take pictures of here adorable little 3 week old this past weekend. I'll post some of my favorites once I get them edited.

Photo Class week 5

So tonight was our last photo class. I'm a little sad, cause it means that it's over. We spent the first part of class critiquing the images from our last assignments. Once again my teacher was very impressed with the pictures that I took. He complimented me on my ability to capture things a little differently again. It's always nice to hear that something you've done is good. The second part of class was spent putting all our pictures together in our portfolios. We laid out all the pictures from the class and one that we had from before and our teacher sorted through them and told us were to place them in our books. It was kind of cool to watch him put our books together. I was actually really happy with the end result. The class was an overall success. Now hopefully I can continue to work on my photography even though I'm not in the class. Stay tuned for more pictures! :)
